The Cottage:
This cottage was built in 1910. Originally served as a country doctors office. Located in the hamlet of Free Union about 9 miles from UVA, Charlottesville, VA and Charlottesville/Albemarle Regional Airport (CHO).
Built in 1910, this unique cottage was originally a country doctor's office, Dr. W.A. Kyger's . He lived in the our farmhouse next door. We have found Indian arrow heads in the yard which is littered with Quartz.

We moved here after 10 years in Los Angeles and 8 years in New York City to raise our 3 daughters in the Charlottesville area.
Mark is an entertainer (Mark Nizer) and (Mary) Scott is a Yoga teacher and former actress and dancer.
Scott has performed on Broadway, in many TV Commercials, Sitcoms and Soap Operas. She loves to cook, travel, knit, garden, read and entertain.
Mark is an entertainer who takes his one man show around the world. He is an inventor, juggler, technology and computer nerd, web designer and show control geek. You can hear his podcast on iTunes called The Cue.
We live in the house next to the "Charming Cottage" in Free Union with our youngest daughter Ruby, our dachshund Hugo and mutt Huckleberry.
